Getting To Know David & Sara Pensgard

You may have an interest in getting to know a little more about us. If so, this page contains a brief profile of who we are and what we do.

• We were married in 1998.
   
• We both attended Northwestern University, Chicago, IL.
  • David majored in Neurobiology and Art Theory and Practice (1995/6)
  • Sara majored in Economics and International Studies with a minor in Russian Language. (1998)
    • Later, Sara received an MLS degree for Library Science at the University of Missouri at Columbia (MU). (2003)
    • Later, David received an MA degree for philosophy of religion at Liberty University (2009).
       
       
• David works both as an adjunct professor of philosophy at Liberty University as well as being a free-lance graphic designer for businesses all over the country out of his home office.
   
• Sara works as a librarian at Patrick Henry College, Purcellville, VA.
   
• David is also a student of philosophy. He is currently applying to PhD programs.
  • Academic Interests: Metaphysics, Phenomenology, Time/Temporal Studies, Philosophy of Religion
     
• Sara may pursue a second Masters Degree soon. Possible areas of study: MBA, Theology
   
• Beyond his work and studies, David's hobbies and interests also include the sciences, ancient history, and nutrition/exercise/health/medicine.
   
• Sara's hobbies and interests include history, religion/theology, knitting, and historical fiction.
